Storing Raw Materials and Products in the Warehouses and Releasing Them from the Warehouses
Receiving raw materials
Raw materials to be used for manufacture arrive from our business partners.
Low insect-luring illumination, automatic seat shutters, and air curtains
Each warehouse has equipment to protect raw materials and products from contamination by insects.
Accepting incoming raw materials
We check incoming raw materials to confirm that their items and quantities are exactly as ordered.
Printing internal management labels
With a warehouse management system, we print out internal management labels to be affixed to the incoming raw materials.
Affixing the internal management labels
We affix an internal management label to each packaging unit of the incoming raw materials.
Storing the raw materials in a high-rise warehouse
We store the raw materials with management labels on them in a high-rise warehouse. Inside the high-rise warehouse, temperature is controlled appropriately.
High-rise warehouse
This is how a high-rise warehouse looks like inside.
This one is as high as a five-story building.
The warehouse is computerized to store each raw material in a location from which it can be quickly retrieved.
Dispensing raw materials to the manufacturing area and receiving finished products
Raw materials allocated based on a production plan by an enterprise resource planning system are dispensed to the manufacturing area through a passing room.
Finished products are received in the reverse route and stored in warehouses.
Shipping products
We ship products to customers mainly by truck.
Exterior of Buildings
Exterior of our logistics centers
Daito has seven logistics centers that receive raw materials and ship products.
Outdoor hazardous material warehouses
We place waste liquids and some raw materials in outdoor hazardous material warehouses.
Miscellaneous
"White Logistics" meeting
We are making an active commitment to hazard prediction and “hiyari-hatto” (accident prevention in response to reported near-miss cases) action and remediation and preventative maintenance (PM) action so that we are always fully prepared to ensure safe and reliable operations. We are also carrying out other actions to ensure the optimal functioning of our distribution system, including arranging the operation of trucks in conjunction with product distribution plans.
