Handling of Personal Information

Daito Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Daito") recognizes personal information protection as its important responsibility and acts in accordance with this policy.

Acquisition of Personal Information

Daito acquires personal information by legal and fair means.

Use of Personal Information

Daito specifies the purpose of use of the personal information it handles and handles the personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the said purpose of use.

Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

As a general rule, Daito does not provide personal information on a person to any third party without prior consent of the said person. However, due to the necessity of its business, Daito may provide personal information on a person to a third party without prior consent of the said person to the extent permitted by law.

Management of Personal Information

To protect personal information from loss, theft, and unauthorized use, Daito takes information security measures, including measures against unauthorized access and computer viruses. Daito also educates and enlightens its employees about information security and strives for appropriate management of personal information.

Disclosure, Correction, Discontinuation, and Deletion of Personal Information

Upon request by a person to Daito to disclose, correct, discontinue to use, or delete his/her personal information, Daito will promptly respond to the request in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

Authorized Personal Information Protection Organization to Which Daito Belongs

Daito is a member of the Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association of Japan (FPMAJ), a personal information protection organization authorized by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. Regarding the handling of personal information by its members, the FPMAJ accepts complaints and provides consultation.
