Packaging
Packaging Process
In addition to contracts for the entire process, from pharmaceutical manufacturing to packaging, Daito can execute contracts only for packaging. Just as with the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and formulation products, the Company performs packaging operations under an advanced management system that meets Japanese, American and European standards.
Integrated blister-packaging lines
Daito has 12 blister packaging lines, two sachet packaging lines, and two stick packaging lines, as well as bulk packaging equipment and weighing and filling equipment. The blister packaging lines have a theoretical capacity of packaging approximately 2.7 billion tablets a year.
Among them, several high-speed blister packaging lines are each capable of packaging 6,000 tablets a minute, enabling the Company to provide high-quality products at low prices.
Those packaging lines are effectively integrated. In addition, the Company strives to save human labor by utilizing palletizing robots and other technologies.
Line clearance
Upon switching between the processes of packaging different lots or products, we conduct thorough visual checks on areas on lines, floors, etc. where tablets or packaging materials in the previous process were likely to be left based on a check sheet, and we record the check results in order to prevent the mixture of different lots or products.
We also count the numbers of all stationery and other tools used in the packaging area and appropriately manage each of those tools, including pens, to prevent them from mixing with products.
Special packaging
We are capable of executing contracts for the following types of special packaging. Please contact our sales staff for details.
- Packaging of high-potent drugs
