Manufacturing Facilities

Raw materials of substances to be synthesized are placed in reaction vessels and blended to cause chemical reaction and synthesize the mixture into the substances as an intended outcome. Temperature, time, and other conditions are strictly controlled.

The inner part of a centrifuge bowl spins like the tub of a washing machine, separating the substances that have completed chemical reaction into the objective substances (solid) and solvent (liquid).

From the wet crystals separated with the centrifuge bowl, organic solvent is volatilized, and the crystals are dried.
Decompression, heating, and rotation volatilize and suck up the organic solvent, which is then liquefied with a cooling device and recovered to prevent it from flowing out to the external environment.

The Sixth API Building is designed based on the principle of “one machine in one room,” which has helped prevent the mixture of impurities and enabled the simultaneous manufacture of various products. The principle will also help further enhance the safety and quality of our products, as well as our productivity.

All pieces of equipment are well designed from various aspects to prevent operational errors and to be easily operable. For example, the pipe layout in the entire building is unified.
Moreover, the installment of nitrogen purging equipment and static eliminators was planned early in the designing stage to ensure safety in a building where organic solvents would be handled.
