Daito Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has formulated clear rules and principles and clearly defined responsibilities in line with its Code of Conduct.
Following its various policies, the Company will provide drug products and services with the aim of fulfilling the expectations of patients and customers.

Compliance Policy

  • We will comply with all laws and regulations and in-house rules based on them, appropriately implement in-house procedures, respond sincerely to customers, and behave responsibly in conformity to social norms.
  • With keen awareness of our own social mission as a company deeply involved in the lives and health of people, we will apply strict discipline to our own conduct with a heightened ethical awareness.
  • As a pharmaceutical manufacture, we will readily assume an important role in contributing to the development of society by manufacturing and providing excellent products and will strive to realize a healthy and harmonious society.
  • We will be a fair player in free competition, suitably for a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • We will establish an organizational system for Company-wide initiatives and a contact for consultation in order to make prompt internal and external responses.
  • We will always do our best to create a workplace environment where the personalities and individualities of all employees are respected fully and they can work safely with a feeling of achievement.
  • We will be a cheerful company by building a personnel evaluation system designed to enable all employees to demonstrate their capabilities fully and enhancing the welfare of employees.
  • We will take autonomous and proactive actions to conserve the environment based on a good understanding of the materiality of environmental issues.
  • We will resolutely respond to antisocial groups that threaten the order and safety of civil society.
  • All executives and managers will serve as good models of enacting the Compliance Policy on their own initiative. If any incident of violation of the policy occurs, they will do their best to resolve the incident.

Supplementary Provision: This policy will come into effect as of June 1, 2006.

Action Plan Formulated in Line with the Act on the Promotion of Female Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace

Daito has formulated the following action plan to create a workplace environment where women can demonstrate their capabilities fully.

Action Plan

  1. Period: May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2026
  2. Targets and measures
    «Target» Increasing the percentage of female managers (section managers and higher) from the current level of 14% to 20%
    «Measures» Providing female employees with career training designed to empower them to become managers with the aim of raising the percentage of female acting section managers and team leaders, who are candidates for managers
    From May 2021
    Designing a training program to enable female employees to increase their own career awareness, management capabilities and knowledge, and offering it to them
    «Target» Increasing the percentage of paid-leave days used from the current level of 63.8% to 70%
    «Measures» From May 2021
    Creating a schedule of the use of annual paid leave, compiling data on the use of paid leave, and adopting other measures to create an environment where employees can take paid leave more easily
